PitPrint Privacy Policy

Effective November 1, 2026

In shortPitPrint does not collect, send or sell any data. Everything happens on your device and on your local network.

Who is responsible for the app

PitPrint is made by Piotr Wolański (PitStudio). For privacy questions, write to hello@pitstudio.dev.

What PitPrint doesn’t do

Your documents

The files, photos and scans you open in PitPrint are processed only on your device. They go only to the printer you choose, or wherever you save or share them yourself.

Local network

To find printers and scanners, print, scan and show ink, toner and paper levels, PitPrint connects to these devices on your network (Bonjour, IPP, SNMP, AirScan). That’s why the system asks for local network access. These connections are used for nothing else.

Camera and photos on iPhone

The camera is used only when you start scanning a paper document yourself. You pick photos in the system picker, so PitPrint sees only the ones you choose. Scans and photos never leave your device unless you print, save or share them.

Settings

Your chosen printer and print settings are stored only on your device.

App Store and Apple

Downloads and updates are handled by Apple. If you agree in your system settings to share data with app developers, Apple may give me anonymous statistics and crash reports. This is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Email

If you write to me, I use your address and your message only to reply. Mail is stored in iCloud. On request, I will delete our correspondence.

The pitstudio.dev website

The website uses no cookies and no analytics. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

Your rights

You can ask what data I hold about you (in practice, at most our correspondence), ask me to correct or delete it, and lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, for example in your country of residence.

Changes

If anything changes, I will update this page and the date at the top.
